My Internet speeds wi-fi and provider connections are about slow as dial up lately. Is there a solution to this problem.

I don't have that problem, what device and OS you on? What else could be causing the problem? Do you have another Wi-Fi place you can test?

If you have a provider "Wifi modem" unit, do yourself a favor and shell out $40 or so for a dedicated Wifi router. Better signal, better speed.

Passport, Os 10.3.1.2576. Worked great for the first six months.

I would recommend performing a reset if you haven't done so already. To do this, hold down the Power/Lock key on your Passport for 10 seconds until the screen turns black, the phone will restart and then display the BlackBerry OS loading screen and progress indicator. At this point, see if your connection speeds have improved.

How many things are you running off the router?
    Is the router 2.5ghz?
How many other neighbors are running 2.5 ghz routers?

Does your wireless router support the 5 GHz band? If so, it may be worth connecting to it to see if the slow speed issue persists. If you don't encounter slow speeds over 5 GHz then it's possible that you are encountering interference on the 2.4 GHz band, most routers will allow you to adjust the channel that your wireless signal is broadcast on, you can find this in your routers configuration page/administrative portal. Adjust the channel until the situation improves.

Check also with your Internet service provider. Some Internet providers cut or reduced your Internet speed when you reach your maximum data. It usually happens few days before end of the month.
