    Hi everyone,

I am new to blackberry passport and would like to install 10.3.3 with the help of autoloader, since no ota update is offered to me.

Currently, i am running 10.3.2.2386. Passport is unlocked, used in Germany, Europe.

I have found several threads on 10.3.3 and autoloaders, nevertheless, i think i did not understand how to Do it.

Can someone provide me a detailed guide?

Additionally, i got a few questions concerning the update:

1: i use Android apps and cobalt's play store. Do i need to have any concerns about the compatibility of these apps with 10.3.3.?

2: i have read a few articles about Bugs After installing 10.3.3 - in General, would you recommend Installing 10.3.3?

    Thanks in advance

If you have been looking in the right places... not sure how you missed this http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...loader-927076/

Some have had some issues with 10.3.3... just like with all versions. I'd go for it

Yes Cobalt's Play Store works, and yes the apps should be just as compatible as on any other other version - but have seen a few mentions of some having problems. But keep in mind that 10.3.3 is still just Android 4.3.

A 5-year old can do this. Find, and download the CORRECT autoloader for your device using your PC. Save the zipped autoloader to your desktop. Then using a PC program called 7Zip or Winzip, unzip the autoloader to give you the .exe file. Then plug your Passport into your PC via usb cable. Close Blackberry Link if it comes up on your PC. Finally, click the autoloader .exe file on your PC's desktop and sit back and watch. The process will take about 15-20 minutes. Then you can begin the process of setting up all your accounts, apps etc from your fresh install. Good Luck!

I have a super weird issue with accessing corporate resources that affects my ability to even send and receive email properly that I think is related to 10.3.3. If losing email on a work account is a deal breaker, play it safe and stick to 10.3.2. Afaik, you cannot downgrade.

These are instructions on using Sachesi. I got them off of the CrackBerry website forums. I follow these instructions every time I update my OS. I always back up my phone before the process as the instructions suggest.

Just in case someone does not know yet how to upgrade non-destructively:

Following the steps below you can upgrade non-destructively, so you won't lose any data on your device and do not have to start from scratch.

It's like doing an OTA update on your device.

Note that this tutorial is assuming that you are using Windows and have the latest version of BlackBerry Link installed.

Before you do anything backup your device with BlackBerry Link.

    Do a full backup!

If something goes wrong you can easily go back to your current OS and restore your backup.

    Backup made?

Then close BlackBerry Link and proceed:

    1)
Install the latest version of Sachesi
    Currently 2.0.0 RC from here
    https://github.com/xsacha/Sachesi/releases

    2)
Download the 3 leaked files for your device:

    Radio
    Core OS
    Debrick

Make sure that you download the proper files for your device, in this example it is a Classic (which is using Z30 Core OS and Debrick and the Radio for the Classic)

The smallest file is the Radio and looks like:
    qc8960.wtr5-10.3.1.2727-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar

The biggest file is the Debrick and looks like:
    qc8960.factory_sfi.desktop-10.3.1.2726-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar

The third file is the Core OS and looks like:
    qc8960.factory_sfi-10.3.1.2726-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar

    3)
Create a folder on your hard drive
Name it as the OS you have downloaded, e.g.
    10.3.1.2726

    4)
Create a second folder on your hard drive
    Name it
    10.3.1.2726 Debrick

    5)
Put the Core OS and the Radio in your 10.3.1.2726 folder

    6)
Put the Debrick file (the biggest one) in your 10.3.1.2726 Debrick folder

    7)
    Open Sachesi
You do not have to connect your device yet
Just open Sachesi and click the tab Extract

Click the Extract Signed button and select the big Debrick file from your 10.3.1.2726 Debrick folder

You' ll see a progress bar running, wait till the process is finished.

In your 10.3.1.2726 Debrick folder is now a second even bigger file which looks like:
    qcfm.image.com.qnx.qcfm.qc8960.factory_sfi.desktop .BB10_3_1.2726.834561.signed

In Sachesi click on the Extract Apps button and select this new big .signed file from your 10.3.1.2726 Debrick folder

You'll see again a progress bar running, wait till the process is finished.

In your 10.3.1.2726 Debrick folder is now a subfolder which looks like:

    qcfm.image.com.qnx.qcfm.qc8960.factory_sfi.desktop .BB10_3_1.2726.834561

Open this folder and copy all files in your formely created 10.3.1.2726 folder (where you put the Core OS and the Radio before)

    8) The files are all in the Debrick subfolder.
Now put your device in airplane mode and connect it via USB

If you have set a password on your device enter it.
    Click the Install tab

Leave the checkmark "Only install newer apps" checked

Click the Install Folder button and select your 10.3.1.2726 folder

You will see a progress circle, be patient this will take some time

    9)
Your device restarts, first boot may take some time. Be patient, this is not like a normal boot, it takes much longer than usual.
