I love the way Facebook and Twitter look on my BB Passport.
Every time I install the apps, it automatically loads all my friends and followers into contacts.

I don't want all those contacts in my phone.
I have tried everything! The only thing that removes the FB and Twitter contacts is to completely uninstall the FB and Twitter Apps?

Has anyone found a solution to this issue?
I really don't want 1800 contacts on my phone.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks BB Community,

It will always load into your contacts. To turn it off, go to the contacts app and swipe down from the top and select settings. From there turn off what you don't want to show in your contacts.

I don't know if I'm looking in the wrong place or if this setting has been removed, I don't see it.

I haven't found a way. The radio button in contacts will keep it out the contact app, but it won't keep them out of universal search without disabling all contacts from search. Assistant will still see them.

Try using Android versions. There is Facebook for Android version 28.0.0.20.16, and Messenger version 25.0.0.17.14 that work quite well. Don't know about Twitter though, as I don't use it.

Yes... That's the way it works... Assistant is supposed to work on finding all appointments or contacts even if they are not on your phone...

If you want to block them then I don't know how you can exclude contacts from the search

Oh... I guess you can... open assistant >settings>device search settings>unselect contacts

Someone made a suggestion in another thread to just delete all the Facebook contacts and this seems to have worked. It doesn't delete them on Facebook and it keeps them out of universal search. It's only been a few hours but I've rebooted my phone and they haven't come, back. That's not practical for twitter with 1000+ contacts tho. I might do it anyway as there are twitter notifications I want where blaq uses too much battery to run in the background.
