    Hi together,

My Passport loses battery power due to high CPU-usage of "input-services" (in German "Eingabedienste", do not know if the translation is right). Attached you can find screenshots of the "devices monitor app" to get a better picture of what i mean.
The high battery drain is not always but at least twice a day I can see the "input-services" raise up the CPU usage to 25% for 5-30 minutes!
I use a 128 GB Samsung Evo Plus Micro SD card (formatting within the device was possible but then my Apple Mac Book couldn't read it and I had to format it on the Mac as FatEX and the Passport accepts it and also the Mac Book - what a bug is this? You cannot use a BB device formatted SD card on a Mac?) and not too many apps.

Does anyone be aware of such a problem and knows the solution? What be great!

Everything the device does requires energy. EVERYTHING.

I don't see screen on your pic, but I am betting it's just up there, eating a lot of battery (one cannot type with the screen off).

Also keep in mind, the passport has an active keyboard that doubles as a trackpad. This is bound to use more energy than any otherd evice prior.

    Hi,

That is obvious, that everything needs power...But there is 20% of CPU usage without using the device and its keyboard...in standby-mode. And that is not normal, I think.

    Best regards

    Hi,

In comparison to the values from StreamedPepsi mine a way too high. Hard reset and restart I did for sure. My peaks are at 25% CPU usage!!!

CPU usage DOES NOT equal battery drain.

Post a screen shot of the actual battery usage.

See how StreamedPepsi actually is showing the battery usage instead?
