Are the Volume button and mute buttons loose and rattle?

No looseness or rattles at all. I've now used it for a few hours straight and there doesn't seem to be any imperfections. Very solid. I've been through a few OG's and 2 ATT (which were both better than original PP).

Only quirk is I cannot get link to back it up or update it. It recognizes the device, starts then ends with an error every time. This may be due to my Surface Pro 3 running windows 10 though. I don't have a machine with anything other than 10, so I can't tell. Sachesi seems to have issues too... strange.

I don't on mine. The transition is almost imperceptible with the difference really being the difference in the surface feel.

So the screen isn't higher on the right as compared to the left?

How about when it is in the pocket, does it dial or activate some apps / games by itself?

How about the sim and sd card cover? Is the silver color paint similar to that on the Z30, which is easily get scratched though.

Not on mine. Transition is the same across the entire top edge.

I have the Limited Edition Red and have none of the above issues though I have been reading that the keyboard is a little less "stiff". Any comment on that?

    Congrats on your SE.

I've also noticed that the power button sits almost flush with the bezel.

The entire phone seems precise and very well put together. I almost feel uncomfortable describing how perfect this phone is compared to its predecessor.

The keyboard is definitely less stiff and I find it a much faster typing process.

OP, would you mind checking if the top silver piece goes well on top of the glass screen or just stops at the top edge of the glass?

Since you also had the AT&T models, how would you say that the SE compares to that Passport?

Reception. Give me a comparison. Between Red Limited Version and Silver Edition. Unless, you don't have it anymore. But does it seem like it has better signal? Really important to me.

Keyboard is much softer and much less stiff, ya? Seriously? Not biased or anything? Because that's the most important factor for me.

I've been using mine for over 6 months but still kinda stiff. It's tiring for long period of typing, and I like to type a lot everyday, especially with regards to my line of work. Makes me wonder if the SE's keyboard is truly much softer. I could use that a lot.
