There are apps in BlackBerry World that allow you to print. I assume they work for passport.

Yes depending on how you want to do it, BlackBerry has an app called "print to go". choose that from your phone or laptop and files can be sent back and fourth over wifi and then printed.

Would be nice if Blend added that functionality.

For what printer? I use printhand for my wireless HP printer. And downloaded eprint to print anything even if I'm not home via Internet.

Thanks to all for the reply and the help.... I came from an iPhone and with it you can go into your email inbox and print directly from the email you are reading without any apps or anything like that. So I was wondering if you could that from the BlackBerry PASSPORT. Thanks to all again for the help!!!! :-)

Don't you have to have a wi-fi enabled printer to do that? I can't print from my device because I'm not connected to my printer. Just curious to know how this is an automatic process from your iPhone.

I use Samsung Mobile app to print or scan stuff from my phone. I just need to open the photo or file and then share it to the app, then it will be done on the printer.

Pretty sure Print To Go is only for sending from PC to mobile phones, not back and forth.

Uhm well, the iPhone has built in air print that prints directly like what you described. Unfortunately, that function wasn't included (yet) to bb10 until now. But it doesn't mean there's no way to print like how iPhone does.

All you need is to download one app and that's it. For me I use printhand.

Totally agree with, you. It would be even much nicer if we could print directly from the phone, afterall, this is a productivity phone,.

I use PrintHand. Ideally, I'd love if the print function was in the overflow menu, but with PrintHand, you open the app and then, from PrintHand, open the document, picture or Web page and print it.

Welcome, I just want to bring you this insight so you understand better your new BlackBerry. BB10 is the OS and The Android Player is a virtual machine within the OS, similar relationship running Mac OS X with Parallels to run Windows alongside, or in the PC world running Windows and VMWARE or VirtualBox running any other operating system. This will let you understand better the relationship between Native Apps vs Android Apps within BB10, and why you don't have 100% compatibility or 100% integration between Native vs Android Apps, the BB10 OS is the main OS in charge of everything. That's why Apps that require Google Play services often complain with a warning or don't work. Other than that, you can use Amazon App Store or sideload Snap to download and install apps from Google Play, or any other service but always look for those apps look alike that may compromise security or stability.

Spaniard welcome to BlackBerry! You can use Print hand and that should it. And depending on the printer you have you can use their branded app to print as well. Good Luck and if you have any further questions let us know.
