I have several apps that all rely on Google Play services. In reality, each has some functions that do, while the rest work fine. When I got my Passport, 10.3.0 allowed me to mark those as read and they stayed that way till midnight. When I got my Passport back from a screen repair, that still worked that way. Later that day, I had two 10.3.1 updates -- 1585 (?) and 1779. Now, every time I have a notification for something else, I get one or more for apps needing Google Play services. Is there a way to eliminate the Google Play services notifications?

Yes, do a thread search on how to remove the dependency.
