The iPhone7 is starting to look like a disappointment, from the leaks coming out. So I'll be using the beast for a while longer.

I'd probably have a Priv or a Nexus 6p or 5x. Outside of BlackBerry, the Nexus devices have been a favorite of mine.

I would use HTC m9 or Sony xperia z5 premium (using z5 premium). I went with the z5 premium because I have the z4 tablet and they both work great together; much like blackberry bridge.

Overall I am happy with both sony products. Thanks to cobalt, I can have the blackberry apps on both.

Samsung s7. I have been using it for about 4 months now along with my IPhone and Passport and the S7 is an excellent phone (battery, camera, look and feel) and Android is my choice after BB10 when it comes to getting work done. IOS is the worst for getting g work done. Only keep it for Fa time and IMessage

I went from the Passport to the P'9983 Graphite for two usage reasons.
Size: the Passport is great for work or in transit. However one-handed use is impossible and it's just a bit big for jeans or dress pants. The P'9983 is the perfect size for thumb-typing.
Built-in memory: apps such as Dropbox and Evernote only download and save to the built in memory for off-line access. The P'9983 has 64go which is perfect for all my apps and that needed storage. The rest goes on the micro SD card.
I also wanted a good looking mobile. The Passport is quite the sexy mobile with a unique cut. The P'9983 fills that role quite easily.

When you say using the Passport with one hand is impossible, you should add, "for me". People reading your comment might think it's impossible for everyone.

I've been using my Passport one handed from the first day I got it.
