Bought the official style passport a couple of months ago. But after seeing this at&t version, the first thing that popped up in my mind was: Why was the passport not designed like this in the first place. My second thought was: I want this round cornered passport! But I live in the Netherlands so here's my question how can I buy the new passport or how can I transform my passport in the round cornered one? What I really want is that Blackberry give passport owners the option to return their old passports for the new one .. But that would never happen haha!

One option is to use photoshop...
A second option would be to wait until a round corner Passport is produced...

    Hey fellow Dutchman

It's AT&T only so I guess coolblue or the PDA shop ain't gonna carry this version.
It would not be able to connect to the Dutch network due to different frequency's used for our Dutch network and AT&T there network. But if you really really want it.. and the internals are equal.. get one from eBay and switch the motherboard?

Haha again make absolutely sure the internals are a exact copy of one another OR find out what kind of frequenties your current carrier is using for its 3G/4G (etc) network. And compare them with the upcoming AT&T model. If they are the same you can use it without the need of opening it up.. but you still need to let a professional unlock your phone because it's probably locked to AT&T

Aldebaran12's Photoshop idea seems like the best solution.

I like it. But will hold off for whatever BlackBerry has up their sleeves later this year. Don't want carrier branding on my phone. I sense 2015 is going to be a berry good one.

The rounded corners was a cosmetic change, the internals of the devise are the same - as reported by several outlets today. So good news, you can get one!

Not entirely true, the redesigned Passport also supports PMA charging, and it could be missing some bands (though this is not 100% confirmed yet) here is the official certification for the PMA wireless charging

The rounded edge looks less bold to me.

It also looks quite boring as other phones out there are all round edged.

Me too.. I want this round cornered passport. I am sure someday, we can get original accessories and change the square passport to rounded passport.

If the demand for the round corners is good, then I can probably bet that Bb will produce the next generation Passport with rounded corners.

I too love the rounded corners. I purchased the original version a few months ago, but was hesitant about the unfamiliar keyboard and returned it. Good thing I did. I can get the AT&T branded one when my contract is up.
