where are the shift and symbol keys? Not a fan of the straight keyboards, particularly if they are as problematic as the Q10 one - double type problems, and I make way more errors typeing using it. The days I use the Bold 9900 I get zero errors - so its not me

Also, this looks a little - inconvenient. Im sure the end product will look different mind you. It had better, for sure. This fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.

I think it looks so much better than legacy devices and the first gen bb10 keyboard phones. Those crisp lumia-like corners are great and help to differentiate it from the "same as ever" curved designs of the ridiculed BlackBerry devices.

Yes it will be wider than the Z30. The Q30 is reputed to be 88 mm wide vs the Z30's 72 mm.

Well, if you compare the prototype n10 that was released to what the q10 turned out to be, q10 looks were underwhelming.

That's exactly what I'm thinking. This current device is for developers, the N30.

If this turns out to be the actual device, then i'd be convinced BlackBerry's design team was high-jacked by the Geico cavemen, and that's the reason we haven't seen them in ads lately, because they were busy carving this pile of dog droppings.

It's a ugly phone that will be in a niche market with lack luster sales. At least they won't have a warehouse full of dead stock, like the Z10.

BlackBerry once again is tripping over themselves releasing a poorly designed phone that will be DOA before it even hits the market!

All these stupid screen sizes are just creating fragmentation and simplicity. Like developers want to keep tweaking crap for all these phones.

What are you talking? It's an even double up of the Q10s screen resolution, like Apple did it in recent years. No fragmentation at all.

I love coming in here and just hearing people contradict each other and argue about specs,size,looks......ill just sit idle on the sidelines and wait till it comes out. And and as I've said before, if it looks anything like what was shown from OP I definitely will not be getting it. And like the back and forth that I had earlier on this same thread with someone, I don't need "facts", or to "prove anything" to make that decision...it's simple......if I don't like something, I don't get it. regardless of its specs or functionality...it's my decision, it's my taste.

Yes that three inch screen device really flew off the shelves. The Q10 and 5 need a 3.5 inch screen and a cheaper price. The Q10 needs a reliable keyboard. Styling was not the problem.

This looks different. Curved edges suit it well. If this is closer to the final product, this thing could be a beast phone. With a whopper battery and good cpu and 3GB RAM... hot damn!

The device could be a bit thinner and a bit taller to be more pleasing to the eye is all.

I read that a passport is is 125 x 88 mm and the Q30 prototype is 120 x 88 mm.
