What's touch sensitive? I'm honestly confused by that. All keyboards are touch sensitive.

The keyboard knows when your figures are touching the keys but not necessarily depressing the key enough to click it. It turns the keyboard into a touchscreen like area of the phone where gestures and swipes are possible.

People that want a kb phone can't handle gestures. This will really f em up.

You said it.For me 9700 is the best legacy device which suited the OS.From my first salary I bought 9700 which is the only reason I went ahead with 9900,but it was a horrible experience. The moment you want to send an urgent email there comes the hour glass.Do the battery pull and wait forever to boot.Q10 was a fresh air after this experience.

Windermere if not beautiful like 9900,but if efficient and effective will be my next upgrade.

And yet my 9900 (Nov 2011) had no major issues. The Z10 had the reboot issue . The Q10 had lifting screens, frame creaking and still apparently has the double typing issue. I do not know why. BlackBerry certainly takes its time in getting devices to market. In order for the Q30 to be successful, the new keyboard has to work well out of the box.

As far as looks go. In the flesh I am sure it will be fine. The key question will be how it works. If it works well and reviewers love it, BlackBerry may just have a device that USA carriers want to sell.

Looooool no, hopefully much better than that, e.g. when you turn the phone to the side, the UK shifts (like an ipad) and you can use the keyboard to 'scroll' the page, like a trackpad

The most unattractive thing of the current Windermere photos, in my opinion, is the keyboard. I think the design of the phone is nice, but that 3 rowed keyboard is just god awful.

Yeah definitely not liking the style. Keyboard seems really awkward, and it looks like it would be top heavy if you are typing.

I think they manage the balance through careful placement of components.

If you have a tablet you can expand this image to achieve a 4.5 inch screen. I calculated the device to be125 x 87 mm for the Q30.

Before BB10 was launched I was told the Q10 will gave this new technology. I don't know why they scrapped it.
