I think the Windermere/Q30 is a good looking device!

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. If BB makes it look "normal" than everyone complains that its just another black slab, and if they differentiate it somehow with a different design everyone complains that it doesn't look "right". So . . .

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. LOL. In my eyes that thing is hideous, and I am a huge BlackBerry fan. If they really do sell a phone looking like that they will put the final nail in the BlackBerry coffin. Just my opinion. If someone saw someone else using a phone like that I could only imagine their response. And then once they find out it is a BlackBerry then all hell will break loose. I really hope this is just a concept like in car shows where the concept is so ridiculous it never makes it into production. I'm not someone who really cares what other people think of the phones I use, but again, this will really make BlackBerry look like a silly company. I really hope they don't do this.

Just to add to my above post. Does BlackBerry really have the money to make any mistakes at all? They should be focused on making devices that at least look good.

Those that have used it have said it's very easy to use, it's more for the phablet range than comparing with the size of a Q or 9900, I think it's one of those things where the perception of it is different from the reality so when you try it everything will click into place, but just looking at it doesn't seem to make sense..

MAN I hate the look of that device. . . so glad that's not targeted at consumers, but probably not going to help the image at all. Come on Q20!

"ugly square brick that won't fit in my pocket" to paraphrase another poster, and likely so for the average consumer. But this looks perfect for lab coat pockets, suit jacket pockets, and the like. I don't think its meant for the Angry Crushed Flappy Twitter crowd.

When you are trying to win people over again you design something to get their attentjion in a POSITIVE way, if this is the final product, they have failed big time. Heck, even cars are being designed with lots of curves and rounded edges...I don't believe that is the final product and I will quietly wait till it is out for my final verdict.

This is not their only device! If it's not for you then just accept it and move on...

I don't know how else to put it, people who have actually held the device and used it as opposed to just seeing pictures, even a friend of mine who looks at all phones objectively has said this will be his next BlackBerry (this is someone who has used a Z30 and Q10) (and has a Nexus and iPhone) ..

First of all, I 've always used a physical keyboard Device, and if this is what we are to expect of the new keyboard phone it is MY choice that I will not get it because it looks terrible if this is how it will look.
