I actually went the other way and put a silver bezel on my Q10.

There's an interesting thread here (Painting my case: how do I stop paint from scratching off? - Hardware Canucks) where people painting their Xboxes discussed how to stop the paint from scratching. Could be useful if needed (I had no idea that there was such a thing as 'matte clear coat').

To anyone looking to do the same as me, I'd recommend not using the exact paint I did. Looks awesome but fairly soft paint.

I have the UKarbon Carbon fiber black on my SE and looks great! its kinda slick but very nice

Just contacted by BlackBerry, offered contract design gig to work on upcoming BB10/Android dual boot Gen 2 Passport. Initial specs look like snapdragon 820, big sensor and f1.4 on the cam, figured out how to mill it out of one piece of stainless including chin and frets, same screen res and size, body marginally narrower, matte black SIM port cover (!!!) and...ooo whoops better not say more... something something non-disclosure agreement something something...

BBPP SE is a beautiful device.
