Passport is getting really slow to use, does anyone have some tips or suggestions.

When I swipe threw my pics they take forever to load and stay blurry.

Apps are constantly freezing and closing on there own.

Internet pages don't seem to load all the time or work.

Screen freezes all the time and can't select anything.

This is a small list of problems that keep arising. Phone keeps getting slower and painful to use, been close to throwing it at the wall many times. But don't have a phone I want to upgrade 2 and don't want to buy another passport when I have one that should be working fine.

Hopefully there is something I can do

Start simple with a device "hard" reboot...hold power button down for about 20-30 seconds until red LED flashes and boot logo reappears.

Use Device Monitor or BBVE to check system usage...may be an errant application hogging resources.
Go through your apps, especially if android, and check again for system hogs running in background...watch for anything relying upon location services.
Check for conflicting apps e.g. multiple camera apps, or maps apps etc.
Check your accounts- may need to clear cache on those which are heavily utilized.

There are numerous other possibilities but you could also just backup necessary data or media and reload OS or update it if possible.

This happened to me before, and found out the problem is running out of storage space. I always try to keep at least 20% available. Check memory consumption too from device monitor

Thanks, i just downloaded it and will try to use it on a regular basis. Dont understand what it will do if it runs in the background

I have already backed up phone and restored OS and have continued to monitor app usage. Nothing really stands out. But the problem continues.
I will try that clean app and have cleared out all old messages and files. Trying to remove all none essential memory and going to remove some android apps.

This is a fraud app it doesn't clean anything...
You're better off with android cleaners like CCleaner or such.

The best solution for this problem is to restart once every month. That solves majority of problems.

Are you having battery drain issues as well? That's what I am experiencing this past week. Can't go all day or all night without battery dying. Have no idea why. Maybe a cleaner app will help me too.
