Did you reinstall the android runtime from a previous build to fix the ART issues which were introduced with the newest build?
If yes, that's your "update". The OS is just installing the actual ART build. At least the 85 MB are referring to this as the runtime is 85 MB big.

BlackBerry 10 OS does not have ART runtime! It still has the old Alien Dalvik runtime which supports upto JellyBean 4.3.

I've shortened Android RunTime with ART. Sorry, if it's confusing

That just means you got the broken android runtime again. Did you previously downgrade the runtime because of existing issue of not able to completely remove an android app ?

    Hi,
May I ask if you already installed BB update Version 10.3.2.2836 and then got another notice for the 85 MB update?

I already upgraded via PC and BB Link by USB connection to my BB direct purchased Passport last week for Software Release 10.3.2.2836. I received notification today on Passport of same update at 226 MB. I am wondering why because the device shows install of 10.3.2836 on OS Version 10.3.3.3876; Build ID 875724 & radio version 10.3.3.3877.

Anyone else can reply too and assist me to understand.
    Thanks

Yeah, I keep getting this update (86MB for me), because I replaced the Android runtime so I could uninstall apps, and refuse to install the update until they fix the problem.

Which I can't believe they haven't done yet..... granted it's pretty much just unlocked phones, so it won't affect many users. But still it's a pretty big bug to not patch.

Apparently the fixed runtime should be in BB World soon.

And since it's a higher version than the problem runtime, it'll stop the upgrade notifications.

Really? They are going to add the FIXED VERSION to BBWorld as an app? Hmmm, I wonder if it will have a "built for BB" plague (yes, I spelled it that way purposefully!!!)

It works if you open the link using the BB10 browser.
If you use a PC or such, you get your error.

I get that error above when trying to update. I just updated two other apps in BlackBerry world so connection isn't the problem. Any ideas?

Having the same problem. Rebooting and switching between wifi and mobile networks does not solve it for me.
I'll try to switch SIM cards, maybe this will work.
If this does not work either, I will reinstall the OS from the scratch.

So I was finally able to download the Android Runtime update that's been linked on the CB front page, but I was still getting notifications for the 85MB update, so I did that too. It won't let me redownload the Android Runtime from BBWorld anymore, so I'm hoping I haven't broken something.

Did you reboot the device after the BBW update?
