If I where you, i would return the phone for a warranty claim. I worth the pain (and the money) : it's a great device (non-objective statement )

RMA it thru the toll free number, they will send you a prepaid box for shipment as long as its under warranty. Doesnt matter where you are located

Can you send it in through RMA even if you purchased it through a carrier or would I have to go through Rogers to get mine replaced?

Mine doesn't have that problem, same with the majority of users. So, that means exchanging it will most likely get you a perfectly fine Passport.

Having a defective unit is just only the starting point of everlasting pain. The process of returning it, waiting killing time, following up unknowingly and the risk of getting another defective unit, just to start all over again the process of reclaiming another supposedly non-defective unit, is the real pain...

What are you talking about. They offer an advanced exchange that takes less than 2 days.
If you want them to repair yours, they will not take more than a week.
You must be dealing with a vendor, and not BlackBerry themselves.

Same thing here. I ditched my Galaxy devices and bought an Android mainly because it was a large screen WITH A PHYSICAL KEYBOARD. Now, even after reloading the OS, I have double typing issues.

There's no official BlackBerry help in my country either OP. Did you manage to contact BlackBerry at all?

Does someone know if it's possible?

It's just like it says..certain keys on reasonable number of devices stick and cause it double type certain letters..mine has the issue but it's manageable

Hey think about it this way. You bought a Passport hoping to get single typing, but instead you got double typing. 2 is more than 1. Therefore you got more than you bargained for! I'd celebrate if I were you.
