    Hi,

The stock browser and even Browsie are really their age. Any one use Chrome or Firefox?

    Cheers,

Chrome is almost unusable. Firefox idk, but I use opera sometimes if the stock browser won't work for specific pages. It's a bit slow too, but at least usable

All third party browsers work poorly for me on Passport 10.3.2. The OS and devices are almost dead. Native browser works best.

It has a browser built in--minimal but fast.

Chrome works OK. I use it for websites that don't work at all on the stock browser like Airbnb and Ryanair.
Firefox is way too slow, I deleted it.

Funny how we all experience different things. I would way rather use Firefox than Chrome but it just doesn't work for me.

Yeah because the AirBnb website works on my Passport with the stock browser. It has slowed down though. I previously used it over the Amazon AirBnb app because it worked so well but that was 3-4 months ago.

The airbnb app works fine but the payment service doesn't work. Which means ultimately it's unusable

Ahh--did not know that. I used it about 3-4 months ago when I went to Toronto and it was good--it must have changed sometime since. Another reason why I purchased a Huawei P10.

Try Polarity instead. Much more lightweight than other Android browsers. Works very well even on the BB10 Android emulator.

On my Passport Chrome works 50-50. Some times it works, some times it freeze. Same with Polarity.

Didn't tried Firefox yet. I will install it and comment later.

Try IceCatMobile from FDroid. It's a rebrand of Firefox. I find it fast but a little jerky on my Passport (10.3.3.2205). Interesting that it scores 411 on Html5test. Stock gets a score of 392.

Firefox, Orfox/Orbot work okay on my passport. Firefox with extensions offers more privacy features than Blackberry browser.

Some sites work on Firefox that don't work on Blackberry browser, and vise versa.

Working fine and well are different things. When I use my wife's moto g4 for browsing, not a flagship by any regard, the difference in page speed/rendering is phenomenal. The bb10 browser doesn't handle js well, and has many other issues. Even Browsie is full of bugs. Most notably for me is both the native and Browsie lose tabs randomly. I'd often open up the browser, invoked from another app, all my session tabs are gone. I presume all 'native' bb10 browsers are using the same web engine and therein lies the problem. It's a struggle and at times frustrating.

I have been using Firefox for a couple of days now, and besides de usual momentary hangs that some android apps suffers on bb10 it works fine. I thinks it performs better than Chrome.

Regarding the native browser, I think some sites are not correctly designed for mobiles even when they offer a mobile version. I experienced some problems with random sites, and the issues are still there if I open them with Chrome or Polaris.

I take it that you must have upgraded to 10.3.3 without leaving the device to stand for 24 hours, or without backing up your data, and then resetting the phone. Very rarely have I ever had problems with tabs disappearing. Admittedly, an upgrade shouldn't have to be painful or complicated, so that's a fault on BlackBerry's behalf right there.

Surprised as heck, but duck duck go is an awesome browser.

Dunno why it's marketed as a search engine, but it definitely is a browser with built in search engine.

    Installed version 3.1.0. From apkmirror.com
