    Hello all

I'm a new Blackberry user, who has shifted from Android after more than 5 years of use. I liked BB Passport as a device, and i like also BB 10, it is the most OS that focuses on business as it is promising to be.

One of the issues that i feel stocked while I'm using the device, is the ability to quit any screen "using the screen swipe up feature" while typing, the problem is that during typing the swipe up feature dose nothing but throwing number and text symbols to the text that I was editing. of course the solution for this is the kill the text mode by refocusing the cursor to a non edited area, but that is annoying since sometimes there are no non edited one!

I'm not sure if there is another gesture that I need to follow which i'm not aware off! or this is a limitation from the system that needs fix!

    Kindly advice!

Hmmmm. The gesture works on my Z30 running 10.3.1. Maybe different on other hardware? Or maybe not getting the bezel right?

Hold your swipe a little bit longer, towards the middle of the screen ;-)

It's an issue with the latest update I believe. I didn't have that issue on 10.3.0 on my Passport.

Nope I don't have that problem with the official 10.3.1. The swiping up works fine when I'm in typing mode. And even when I go back to the app, I'm still in typing mode where I left off.

Op, don't tap the screen first then swipe. Try gently touch the "T" and "Y" key and slowly move up and swipe up with your thumb. You just need a little practice from where to start the swipe.

You can try swiping from off the screen (bottom bezel) going straight up off the keyboard

I actually find that the new 3.1 is better because I had issues with 3.0 where the app would get minimized sometimes when flicking up words from the keypad.

No doubt they made some tweaks and it now works better for me personally as I tend to write / respond and send prior to switching apps.
