I setup my VPN ( hide.me ) on my Passport successfully using Microsoft IKEv2 VPNM Server but after a while of me not using the phone, the VPN connection disconnects. Do you know what setting I need to change to prevent that? I see an IKE Lifetime which is @ 86400 and IPSecLifetime @ 10800 and NAT Keep Alive @ 30 but I don't know what to change.

I contacted hide.me support but they said this is a device specific issue and I need to contact BlackBerry on their forums. I obviously choose this forum because it has more knowledgeable people.

Make sure auto connect is enabled and power optimization is disabled, should help unless your VPN is a crappy overseller.

I couldn't find the auto connect chief, where is that setting located? And where is the power optimization setting as well?

Settings>Networks and Connections>VPN... should see something like this. Tap on the 'Auto Connect' icon and it will take you to even more settings.
