    The z30 has easily the best speaker I've ever heard on a smartphone. A big decision for me to get the Passport is based on speaker quality. Is it as good or better than the Z30? Worse?

    The z30 has better speakers. They are slightly louder and have more bass. The stereo separation is better because the speakers are further apart than the passport. The Passport's speakers have more treble and a little more clarity but overall, most people are amazed at how good the z30 sounds.
    I've done tests with both of them side by side, playing the same mp3 files as I have both phones.
