As long as IMAP/Exchange remains a standard. You can still get email on windows 95.
You've got years left and your battery will need replacing before then.
I'll move on long b4 the battery goes bad. I always do.
Then what was the point of your question? Lol I'm going to be using a q10 soon but I'll probably get a passport when I can afford one. And I'll keep it for as long as it's useful.
Because what if I fall in love with it??
It could happen.
Honestly. I wouldn't even bother. Go get the key one or some other OS and model.

I have a Samsung S8+ and an iPhone 7+.
A lot of people seem to forget, the beauty of bb10 is in its simplicity. If you're addicted to your phone and need 100 apps to feed that addiction then yeah, bb10 is not for you. But if you just want a barebones communications device that can handle the basics effortlessly, thats what bb10 is and what blackberry has always been about. Don't hate the player, hate the game son.
It depends on how do you define "working"
Really agree with you, as a productive and communication tools, bb10 devices are champion. Necessary apps had already provided.
I would say a 1 1/2 year at most...I'm guessing though, nobody really knows cause "Times are a Changin' " quickly ..
I think as long as BB10 can still make and receive phone calls, send and receive sms/mms, email and calendar then it will still be a usable and useful communications platform. That will probably be years.
