    That's why I am switching to At&T for now. I will never be dependent on a carrier ever again. All my phones will be purchased independently.

    Same here. Giving up my unlimited data, and after over 10 years with big red, making the move. Just waiting for my wife's Passport to arrive.

    If I counted right it is 50% in North America (US and Canada). It also looks like that the only ones who received the phones from Amazon were ordered on the 24th and 25th and everybody afterwards is **** out of luck though on the 26th they still showed in stock.

    There is another thread in which a CB users says that Amazon gets another shipmebt in November. I hope they will satisfy the backorders first.

    12 days if you ordered on the release date. Probably doesn't bode well for those of us that ordered while it was on back-order. And now we play the waiting game...

    Ordered on the 29th from Amazon US. I've gotten upgraded to next day shipping and received a small credit on my account after contacting Amazon to find out if there were any updates. Who knows how long we will have to wait at this point. I don't want to cancel and hope for Shop BlackBerry and I certainly am not going to pay 2-300 more from a third party seller on Amazon.

    Posted in a few other threads, but looks like Amazon orders (at least in the US) will start shipping this week. Got an estimated delivery date of the 17th, and I ordered on 9/29.
