    Let's make a head count of the people who have ordered from amazon from launch up until now. That way we can see that amazon is slowly but surely filling in orders on the dreaded "waiting list".

    I ordered on 26th of September. Not a peep from Amazon.

    Interesting thread. I wondered the same.
    Same here: ordered on Sept 26 (when it showed availability), got a backorder email 2 hours later and since then? Nada.

    Amazon: 0 for 2

    I ordered Oct 2, haven't heard anything since then. Apparently, some of the european amazon are showing 1-2 months for an expected ship date. So I'm no longer optimistic that I'll get my phone in the next week or so (though still hoping!). But it is what it is, and I'll get it when it's available.

    Wow..I guess we have a lot of crackberrians on here that are STILL waiting for their passports. Or (better theory) No one cares, expect for the two people who posted. I thought this was a community and not a macrumors popularity thread contest.

    Which country?

    Received mine from German amazon shop exactly a week ago. Although on their website they stated October 2.

    Vodafone as the second big outlet in Germany does not have it in their shops yet. Amazon was the first even beating expansys (both Germany and UK) who are well known to have them first, although mostly on a higher price.

    ordered from Amazon 9/26. Radio silence since then. Received $25 credit from amazon to compensate for failure. I recommend all of you chat/call and complain as well. Maybe amazon complaining to BB over all the credits amazon gives us will get BB to bat a f#$@cking eye.

    I ordered day 1 sept 24 via slowest delivery to Vancouver. Shipped sept 29 and it arrived Oct 6. Notifications were sparse after arriving in Canada however it made good time.
