I'd like to keep mine until the passport 2 comes out. Prob within 2 years but my "I" button is already sticking out at the bottom left corner and I don't know how long it will last. Been about 3 weeks since using the phone with several emails a day. Touch still works on that button but if I gets caught on some fabric while putting it in my pocket the button will probably go missing lol.

Nothing will do us apart. Till death (hopefully death of Passport!)... Or, until something else comes around and I 'need' is.. so few months... or..

Not sure had the Z10 then Z30 and now Passport. So look like I'll be keeping it until next year at some point.

Probably 2 years. After my contract is done and I don't have to pay a stupid upgrade fee.

Until the next best phone on the planet is released by Blackberry
Same for me. However, I am not limited to BlackBerry. Quite likely I might get this BlackBerry touchscreen phone with the flip keyboard. At the moment I can't see too many innovations from Samsung and the like. Maybe some Chinese manufacturers might have some interesting phones in the pipeline. We'll see at MWC in Barcelona.

Well one of my New Year's resolutions is to not make any smartphone purchases in 2015. That pretty much means I would have no reason to part with the Passport as "trading up" won't be possible for at least the next year. So I'll have the Passport at least through Dec 31, 2015.

Exactly one week in with my passport and my thoughts are clear. I've used four different blackberry 10 devices this year (Z10, Q10, Z30, and the passport). The passport is a keeper. I've given my Z10 to a client, my Z30 went to my girlfriend, my passport is permanently attached to my hand, and I'll use the Q10 in a pinch.
Unless blackberry comes out with a device as compelling as this one, I'm going to keep it for the foreseeable future. Where do you go from here? Nowhere!

My thoughts are aligned with this quote! I sent z10 & z30 to relatives in Philippines, and kept a q10 as a backup device. My Passport experience feels like this device is technologically "deep". Meaning, it's going to take me a fair amount of time to mature with this device. I did not have that view before I owned the device. I had every intention with continuing with the Bold, Q10 & Classic sequence of devices. Even during the first week or two of Passport ownership I was planning to make the Classic my main device. But that thought has faded out by the time the Classic released. I've decided to "divert" my designated funds for the Classic and instead put all that cash into some decent earphones.
