It's not that complicated, Tracey: it's moving your files to a different location in an SD card and creating a symlink by using BG Shell, which you can get from BB World. Don't be intimidated by the looks of it, it's quite easy to do, and it generally works. (Generally, because I had problems with sending some videos, they were just too big, methinks).

Other than that it works pretty well, even with WhatsApp Web. One of the few Android apps which doesn't crazily deplete your battery, too.

What do you mean patched WA? If you are using Google play store there is no need to patch WA!

Thank you. I have WhatsApp apk and BG Shell, how do I get to work them together? If someone can explain in simple term it will be very much appreciated

    Hi,
You can follow below how to do from this thread:
    http://forums.crackberry.com/showthread.php?t=1108531
If you have installed Google Play Service/Store, Google/Blackberry ID (from Cobalt), please deleted first.
I don't use WA apk but WAplus (where I get from that thread also).
Now after reboot, I can send pics and even video.

For those who still have difficulty install WA, here I share my success story:
    1. If you have installed current WA/WA apk, please delete them from your phone.
Go to File Manager-->misc-->android--> delete WA folder.
    2. If previously you have installed Google Play Service/Store, BB ID from Cobalt's, please delete them.
    3. Since I have a lot of try using WA apk but not worked, so I try WAplus
    Go to https://www.official-plus.com/
I run it and but until I entered code sent by sms, I stopped.
    4. Force closed this WA app through:
Setting-->Application Manager-->Device Monitor--> WA , click close button at the lowest.
You can also follow this thread:
    https://forums.crackberry.com/blackb...olved-1108531/
(follow step 3. Thanks to @hamed ghorbani)
    5. Create Android folder at your SD card. If you don't have it, get it first.
You can follow the same upper thread
    https://forums.crackberry.com/blackb...olved-1108531/
    (step 1).
    6. Then installed BG Shell. Find it at BBW. The app name is BG SSH-SCP-SFTP Free.
    7. Open this BG Shell. Follow instruction from this thread:
    https://forums.crackberry.com/blackb...olved-1108531/
(follow step 4. Thanks to @hamed ghorbani)
    8. I already have WAA fixer previously. I'm not sure it has effect or not but I still keep it.
If you don't have it, download it first :
    https://mega.nz/#!JiQBUaAR
Download it using your PC/laptop. Extract it and save at your PC drive.
Since I'm using Chrome web browser, it must have extension BB10/Playbook.
Go to Chrome, search for More Tools ---> Extensions---> Have check for BB10 / PlayBook App Manager 2.2.2
    Follow this step from youtube:

    10. Try to run WAplus

Maybe those steps would be useful for WA apk. But I'm not trying yet.

    Hopefully it helps

If it's real that Whatsapp has extended its services for BlackBerry 10 then they will update the app through BlackBerry World.
