22 hours. And I haven't needed to do any sort of management. I just install all the apps I want and run them all. 100+.

If I really wanted to try I bet I could make 30+ easily.

I've had mine for less than a week. Sunday night I didn't have a charger and it was still good after 24hrs being off the charger. For some reason it was fast discharge that day, but the next day it was good again.

How do you all get such long battery times?

I get around 14hours average. Nowhere near the days long charge times some of you are getting. I wonder if it's because I have 21 items in my hub, including the hub itself, calls, vm and such.

depends on how I use it.. everything turn down and use it with GPS it last close to 12 hours. If I use it without GPS than it can last about 2 days before i recharge with everything turn down to the lowest settings.

I don't play games on my phone, my phone is strictly for comunication and browsing, with that, my battery can easly last 2 days, some days can get close to 3.

I always have exellent network and wifi reception, because that makes a huge difference in battery life.

PS. I'm running the leaked 10.3.1.1151

Usually, I'm very positive about things, try to see why things are the way they are and see the good side.

I managed to kill the battery in approx. 10hrs or less.

I am totally flogging the device on wifi and 3G usually. Had to reduce brightness to somewhere between 50 and 75%.

Biggest battery drain in Device Monitor is usually the display, about 30-41%...

Start 5.30am with audio bible and tech news (CB et al.), browsing, web research, emailing, about 1hr+ calls a day, BBM, contacts management, remote file access, etc.

I generally leave a few apps open, phone, contacts, ClipMan, browser, remember and a few others, because I need access to information fast and need to be able to switch between tasks quickly.

Yesterday I was reaching for the battery pack at 4.30pm, had about 20% or so left.

Yes, I need "bluetooth on" in the car, sometimes bridge to PlayBook, use maps and location. Sun is very bright here in the tropics outside (not on overcast monsoon days, sure).

Hope for some improvements in 10.3.1, but all in all it doesn't last much longer than my Q10. I believe the display is the reason. Bigger and LCD instead of AMOLED. My use might also be more intense on the Passport, because the screen is very enjoyable.

Still, this is not the average use case, and I'm actually quite happy. Removable battery would be great, though.

    :-)

The 36 hours i get now under really heavy usage has spoiled me. Same usage demand with Notes 1, 2, 3, plus iphone, meant emergency charging need by about 3:00 in the afternoon.

As a result used to save tasks and follow up in my work until I returned to my office. Then went to one of those big extra life batteries for the Sammies which weren't bad but turned the phone into a 2x4.

I think this Passport is alot more than just a long lasting battery but have to admit, it's nice not having to worry about it. Or...seeing the screen outside, but that's another thread.

Wow, now I'm even more anxious for these to be released in the US! I can't hardly remember the days of not having to charge at some point in the day. That takes me back to my 8703e, which went for several days. Not quite the same experience though!

I average 1 day and a half usage on single charge. I use a couple streaming android apps that I imagine strain the battery more, and type an awful lot on it (emails, chat apps and what not). Use wi-fi at home and 4G (I'll try more battery tests on 3G and 2G next week). Signal is very inconsistent in my city (I blame the carrier) and sometimes weak, however I fly a lot so end up switching off all radios, so I guess they even out.

Coming from a Z10 I am pleased altho expecting a little more. So far it's ok.

I get 2 days of average use. About 30 emails a day, 30-40 sms, 15 BBM, 30 minutes of talk time and some browsing and last but not least some precious time on crackberry!

My Phone is always on LTE or 4G with wifi on 15+ hours a day

I like full brightness, the screen is to beautiful to not have it on full brightness, especially on the Passport
Honestly, I don't know, I always have all my devices on full
I carry the Q10 extra battery pack/charger though when I run out, I use it everyday, but some days I'm out of the house 20-22 hours, the battery just doesn't keep up, but its an improvement from the Q10, I went through three batteries a day on that

True, it does look nice, I have it sometimes during the day, but during the night full brightness is so strong that hurts my eyes, i have to turn it down.

I get roughly a full 24 hours each day with 2 active sync emails, all social media, and 3 active frames. If consider myself a heavy user, consuming a lot of articles and videos, and listening to music in a day, not always on WiFi.

Longest I've gotten is roughly 40 hours due to forgetting to charge with medium usage. Overall very pleased with the battery life.
