I think the priv will be successful but what about bb10?

I see no reason they can't coexist but sadly, due to the lack of apps, I have to wonder if the Classic is the model that would be updated. The target audience of the Classic is really almost a feature phone and the Classic will continue to fill a niche without needed a broad eco system.

So, I think bb10 will be around a while but sadly, mainstream support could likely go down more.

That said, as long as BlackBerry keeps it alive, Priv success and overall BlackBerry brand awareness will help.

Well for ME the Android version died long before BB10. And its not even available yet, strange?

We'll have to wait to see how successful the Priv is, but we know BlackBerry 10 wasn't successful enough, and that is the reason for the move to Android. BB10 will be around for a while, but don't expect any major updates to the OS or any new devices.

As for the Classic, I expect to see some significant price drops over the next few months.

Classic with definitely be the first BB10 to get updated, its the best seller. A high-end BB10, whether Passport or full slab just doesn't have the sales projections to warrant one and may have a high barrier to carriers to sell an updated model.

BlackBerry has nearly all it's resources focused on Android now. I very much doubt that there will be any new BB10 devices.

If there are new bb10 devices, I expect them to either be a new classic or reworked android models. There is no reason they can't take the same basic hardware and make a second model like Samsung did with Windows.

Not unless they want their hardware business to be profitable.
