So I have a passport Se and a classic but was thinking of selling my ppse. I see they are holding up they're value well but wondering for how long before they start losing their value to essentially nothing? I'd like to get as much as possible for it but not sure if perhaps it'll be more worth down the line as a collectors item or if it'll be worth as much as a palm pre a year from now.

    Thoughts?

Surprisingly in my area, Passport prices haven't seemed to drop that much compared to others. Theyre still averaging about 300-350 CAD whereas you probably couldn't sell a Z10 for more than $50.

What other manufacture has made a PP SE for its price? None.

If you sell it, I would use ebay. I got almost half of what I paid for it back in April. I had it for almost a year and a half prior. The passport se should still have similar value if not more.

I've seen them on ebay hovering around the $300-400 though I can't imagine it selling for that price come next year. Would like to hold onto it as a collectors item but as others have stated it isn't likely to be worth much down the road.

My Passport is priceless, but if your Passport SE in mint condition, I'll offer to buy it from you if you think your is essential value next to nothing.

Sooner the better. Bb10 won't support absolutely nothing in the future, so better sell it before people realize that

I don't understand how people even feel to sell their passports. Its a one of a kind device guys. I can't seem or even imagine to loose my BlackBerry Passport for another boring piece of glass slabs.

I Just got a white Passport off a forum member. Reminds me I must give him feedback

Anyway I bought and sold my Z30. I miss some things about the Z30 but honestly I'm loving this phone. I think the white looks quite premium. Lots of people think it looks awesome. It feels faster and more responsive than the Z30.

For me I think it'll last at least a year and I hope two!

Keep it a backup/collector's if it doesn't fetch much value in return. My 2 cents at least.

I also agree with a few posters here about keeping the device.

I think something like this, and a lot of BlackBerry devices in the future will become a cool look back collectible.

I recently picked up a mind condition Bold 9000 as a collector item. Just going though the hardware and the software and it wild to see how much things have evolved from 2008. If we look back at some technology from the 80's, 90's till today, its always interesting.

I usually sell my devices to get the next, but I currently have the SE Passport, blue Classic and Z30 and I think I'll be keeping all of them because I have a feeling there won't be anymore true BlackBerry devices(hardware and software).

I hold on to the phones I really like such as the Passport. It's "spent" money rather than something to sell on. I dunno, it seems odd selling on something so personal even though it's "just" a phone.

Depends on what you paid for it. I don't think it will become any type of collectors item except for people in here, the same way the Playbook isn't a collectors item and you can get them new on eBay for $50. If Blackberry somehow made a resurgence and became very popular again then yeah its possible, but I wouldn't count on it.

I think your right.... Majority of BlackBerry fans never bought into the whole BB10 switch, probably don't even know the Passport exists. Technology just isn't one of those "collectable" type items. When it is, it's usually the first gen stuff where there was a much more limited number of devices produced.

I would sell it now OP or keep it forever. With more android phones being talked about and released, it's going to further drive down the value of the SE. People view BB as a dying brand and are trying to pay "going out of business" prices.
