So I got a passport yesterday and in finding that everyone I press the top button to lock the device that sometimes it actually doesn't lock it,you can just unlock with no password 40% of the times.

I've set up the password and also that number passcode too.

You will lock the device after sometime of inactivity... depending on the time you specified in the settings under Device Password.

If you have the latest OS 10.3.1, you can go ahead and lock the device without waiting for the specified time (ex. 30 mins), just by pressing the K key while on home screen.
