You can install Snap first. Then install Viber which is available in Snap.
Snap does not let you install viber in passport. Use saches and download as other device or there is a apk link somewhere in forum.
However it doesn't work properly at first few launches. Must be some issue with initial setup. If it doesn't work have someone call/message and you can get in.
Passport, SQW 100-1, 10.3.0.1154
Actually, the latest version of Viber available on the Google Market, doesn't work properly on the 10.3.1 (you may not answer or place calls). After many trial, I found the 4.3.3.67 version perfectly working, both for chatting and for talking. Yopu need to find the apk online and sideload it with DDPB or Sachesi.

It doesn't work (version 4.3.3.67). I have the same issue: it rings one time and disconnects. The messages don't work also.

Why sideload? You can install from apk directly.

I installed Google Play as recently posted and the proceeded to download Viber. It works perfectly fine but it's worth mentioning that it is absolutely destroying my battery. I can also see that in my CPU and my Battery monitors. I've even 'force stop' Viber using Ghost Commander only to see it in my running apps again without even opening it!
