    Hi guys,

I am relatively New to my BlackBerry passport and already Managed to install the Play Store on my passport.

But i did Not fully understand cobalt's tutorial regarding the question whether it is possible to install Play services.

    Is it possible?

Would be great If i Wouldn't need to Patch Play services apps on my pc.

    Thanks!

It is best to ask these types of questions in Cobalt's threads, he does keep an eye on them and provided feedback and help:

    Cobalt's file share:

    [url]https://mega.nz/#F!lIUWjSSQ!yoLoiNX3PNG3Sef1Fa_fMA

    Install and login with 4.3.3.
    Install and register with 2.8.
    Install Play Services v10.
    Update 4.4.4 over 4.3.3 (but don't open).
    Install Play Store v6.
    Install whitelist 1.0.0.6.

If an app requires Google Play Services:
Download app with Cobalt's Play Store (but don't install).
    Whitelist unpatched app.
Patch app on PC with Play Services Patcher 1.6 using defaults settings.

    Install patched app.

If after all that, your app still won't work, then it's simply not compatible with BB10.

But one question, i already installed this:

    Version 4.3.3.
    Version 2.8
    Playstore Version 6

Can i simply install whitelist, Play services and the program with Version 4.4.4 over my previously installed programs mentioned above?

Or Do i need to erase all installed Google Play Store related stuff to install it properly afterwards?

In conjunction with Google Play Services v10, it is compatible with the newer sign in protocol, and tends to behave better with paid apps and subscriptions.

If you look at my post, the order would be to install Play Services v10, then update to login 4.4.4, then install whitelist 1.0.0.6.

    com.google.android.gms-10.0.84-cobalt-build1.apk

Perhaps it's because the instructions are a bit too sparse?

You may need to spell out which app name to install, and not just go by version number (I'll admit that even I had to write down the list of required apps to match up the numbers of your order). Some are confused by that. Some need the steps fully and specifically spelled out.

The problem is that information gets lost in noise and verbosity. At least referring to the files by version number makes finding them foolproof.

Just download the files to your computer and then transfer them to your device.
