I met with five clients yesterday. The first two were curious but kept the conversation to a minimum. The last two however are currently using Z10s and well our meeting turn into a game of 50 questions.

The main questions were:
Battery
Speaker - phone calls and music
Keyboard
And if it could actually fit in a pocket.

The last two clients were thrilled to see it.

That's not a phone I can't fit that in my back pocket. That's a blackberry? Do they still have this? (proudly holding up her Q10) if my phone breaks I am getting another one.

Then I tested Miracast and the kids were amazed.

I went to T-mobile to get a nano-SIM and the manager was blown away by the Passport. He wanted to try it out and didn't want to give it back. He said "I was always a BlackBerry man and I can't believe we're not selling these."

By then we had a group of customers gathered around, wanting to know where I got it...

Great thread. BlackBerry just may be onto something special here? When you really think of it, BlackBerry had to gamble and come out with a device such as this. It's the only way to get people talking about the company. The best part: If you walk around with the Passport, there is no way anyone could mistake it for an Apple or Samsung. It's just a good thing that BlackBerry backed it up by making it the best new device on the planet.

Yep. Same here. I got it bad. A week ago I was so cheap trying to pay off my new fridge and vacation before Christmas that I was using my collection of hotel shampoos instead of buying a new bottle. Now this week I'm calculating how long after Christmas I'll be paying off my credit cards if I sneak a Passport in there.

Won't spend $3 on shampoo, but a $700+ phone? No problem. My priorities are messed up.

Q10 is a more usable phone in public. The Passport borders on being a tablet imo. I miss my Q10, but I'm enjoying the Passport too.
