I've been using the passport for 3 months now, and all the people I work with like the passport, except for the techy guy of the hotel who's an android fan, who keeps saying that's ugly, and blackberry is dying, they are shutting down, blablabla
But I think what catches people's eyes is the case I have (see picture). They would first check the case and then they turn the phone and discover it's a BlackBerry, and starts asking about it...

My coworkers knows what a BlackBerry device is and since they knew me for using BlackBerrys for such a long time, the PP SE puts a glow in their eyes when they saw it and amazed of the build quality and the functionality of the BB10 OS. The only downer is my niece. She mistaken it to a calculator.

Lol after many many yrs of my kids..and everyone else... trying to read my txts to them... they all love it! Think it looks funny, but they find it impressive... saves them time trying to decode what I may have been trying to text/email on a virtual hit and miss keyboard!

Have had my silver ed for one week - on deadline and live in the country. - which means chained to laptop so I don't get out much - but when people see it some are wowed and others act indifferent which can mean oblivious or envious!!!

Folks are now noticing my Passport,...their first response is,....no lie,..."that's a big *** phone,...is that a Blackberry?,...Wow"! This is then followed with,..."I thought they went out of business!"

I sat on a restaurant close my house, few people next to my table put their eyes on my BlackBerry silver passport and said WTF damn gorgeous phone. When I said it's blackberry they replied you should be joking dude. When I show blackberry logo they said how come rim could make pretty beast like this, may I see it, they beg, sure.

For me the interaction is strangely similar every time :

Them : What is that?
Me : Blackberry
Them : They still make those things?
Me : Yes
Them : That's the weirdest looking phone I thought it was a calculator.
Me : Look, you can scroll with the keyboard
Them : Oh wow that's actually pretty cool....
Me : It's all about the keyboard I can type you a full copy of East Of Eden in like 9 minutes flat.
Them : I'm still sticking with my Iphone man.
