Think I'm the only one with a Passport SE in Aberdeen, Scotland. People at my work are all iPhone or Android fanboys. The Passport confuses them. There is a couple of tech guys who love the phones build quality, keyboard, width of phone making Web pages better to see, camera. Tell them what's under the hood then they like school kids on first day of holidays!!

Was in one of our local Carphone Warehouse. Sale assistant there wasn't even aware of this phone.. something to do with pushing the Apple and Samsung slabs is the norm up here! Even the assistant says that people need more choice of what they want. BlackBerry marketing really needs to up their game in my opinion.

Sure it's a fun forum, however we should all do our best to write correctly. We aren't using a numeric keypad to type text anymore, plus many here are learning or use English as a second language. If you were under 18 and still struggling through school fine... yet most BlackBerry users here (particularly Passport owners in this very forum topic) I figure are rather well educated and professional. I find it annoying grammatically too when someone doesn't take the time to write properly using the greatest mobile pkb... that being said let's move back to the topic of people's reactions.

Of course. Maybe it is annoying. But it's off topic and useless IMO. It won't bear any good fruit. By correcting someone you're not going to get them to pay attention to their spelling, rather you will get them annoyed at you and start a needless argument.

It is definitely a conversation piece.. went to T-mobile today and bought a nano sim for my Passport and the sales rep was flooded with questions, even said that he misses his Bold 9900 and wishes T-mobile would wise up and sell the Passport, not too crazy for the classic, I on the other want to buy the classic and swap simultaneously between devices..

And btw, I used that 'calculator' thing to call the police...

(Just only wondering why they are mistakenly thought the BlackBerry Passport as calculator when it has no physical number keys on it?)
