I know this is a passport thread, however I have many people curious about my Z30. Most are impressed with it, however most kept to their iPhone or Droid afterwards. I have had a few people, mostly family return to BlackBerry after seeing my phone.

Something like what Microsoft has done here, Windows Phone 8.1 Online Emulator From Microsoft, would be very helpful for people thinking about trying the Passport.

I was at the Raptors game on Sunday evening and the in-house announcer for contests and such, Kat, was standing beside me near the tunnel. So I asked if she and her partner Mark Strong could pose in a selfie with me. After I took the pic she asked if that was the Passport and how I like it. I told her that I love it and she said that she liked how the picture looked. I noticed that she was using a Z30.

Intelligent people reaction is to take the passport in their hands and to check the software and how the phone feel in the hands, silly people or iPhone fan boys just laughed and try to say something smart but after few minutes they are surprised how incredible that phone is. The truth is that the most of people think BlackBerry is dead and their expectations are for something really out of today's tendency.

I don't own a Passport. I'm using Classic instead. But one of my friends, a teacher, once took out his Passport to snap photos of his students. They are amazed and thought that my friend has a calculator that could snap photos.

So far today just two reactions at work. First one from a guy at lunch ask 'is that a really a phone?' second one was from my supervisor later on in the day. He asked what phone am I using to play my music. I said BlackBerry his reply 'f BlackBerry it's all about Samsung ' so I asked if he seen the new one? He said no. Showed him my phone and he smiles looking at it and he text himself to test it. His reply after he gave it back 'I like it' so my response to him was 'f your mega' lol.

What is that?! That my friend is my BlackBerry Passport.

Though I'm not a passport user but z30 instead, funny thing is that all my colleagues were complaining about the reception while traveling to work. One of the company's accounts manager has a newly bought Note 3 and can't send an email at all. I offered my phone for hotspot and there she goes was able to send the email. With that, 2 other colleagues (Samsung users) got curious about my phone and asked me if I had trouble with reception in our accommodation unit and I said never. So today they decided to get z30. An hour later, I got a call from accounts manager and asked me to order a passport together with my wife. All in all, there will be 4 passport users in the company. Me? Soon hopefully.

Today when I was in the coffee shop to have a cup of coffee and 4 people ( two girls ) in less than 8 minutes have approached to me asking me about my Passport. Reactions were pretty good and most of them are impressed and actually want to buy this phone. And most of people find this phone cool but I don't really like the attention that I'm getting because of this phone.

Guys and gals, it would be great if you could also mention what country you are located so that we can have a better idea of where these stories are coming from. For some reason I mostly think the majority are from Canada except when I see someone mentioning t-mobile or att.
