So I know that this is a neat feature that BB always had. However, it's no surprise that compared to how big it was at one point, it's not used by as many people anymore. Out of my friends I have only 1 friend that still has it and I use it to talk to him once in a while.

Other than that what are you guys using your BBM for? I'd like to think of some use for it that I still have reasons to open the app. I know there are pages and what not now but I am not quite sure how it all works.

I've got 58 active BBM contacts.

In terms of keeping BBM alive, not that I feel it would die ever!

A Dev needs to show us how to create messages that are customised ie press 1 for this and 2 for that.. is it possible?? If we could create unique messages again that only work on BBM, jokes or just clever messages but with features of choosing options or something..

    Well that's my two cents..

My girlfriend and I use BBM Groups for syncing our shopping list, for planning events, vacation and such things. Just as an example.

Since BBM has gone cross platform, I have persuaded a number of friends to start using it. When traveling out of the country, not only can we communicate through BBM messaging, but we can make calls over WiFi. No data charges, no need to buy a SIM card or pick up the extra expense of an international plan.

My business group easily communicates to everyone through groups. Adding photos or files to the conversation is very easy to do while Whatsapp is more complicated. BBM is free, Whatsapp is not.

I could go on and on, but you get the drift.

I only use BBM for the Channels. I have a couple of contacts in the messaging portion of it, but they are iOS or Android users that don't use it anymore.

It's sad what has become of BBM. I used to love it.

I'm a bit bummed by the lack of interest I've received with my friends and coworkers over BBM. No one uses it, all android or ios. Ones that have used it don't anymore, or rarely.

So I use it for channels.
