    Hi!
A friend of mine runs a small phone shop and so far he had 4 refunds in 2 days for unlocking the Passport (They were carrier locked). He hasn't got one in his hands yet so I'm hoping you could help me help him )
Is there any way to find out what the PRD of a Passport is? I know on older BBs that it was written, together with the IMEI under the battery but as the Passport doesn't have a removable battery... Is it near the flaps that comes off to access the sim/memory card?
I would greatly appreciate your help
    Thanks

Usually that info will be printed on the box. You can also find some values under the "about" section at the bottom of "settings", and also under security > Sim card. Hope that sort of helps?

    Hey Blackerthanblack,

The passport can't be unlocked by knowing just the PRD

only the older models can be unlocked by processing the code based on the PRD

Don't try wrong codes and hard lock it
