Every time I plug my Passport in (which I love by the way) I hear this annoying voice "battery alert; charging started" and its rather loud.

I have searched the Crackberry site; and there doesn't seem to be a straight answer to this issue.

I have tried going to the notifications setting; no good result there.
I have also set the passport to "meeting profile"; still same result.

Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you,

That's not part of the BlackBerry OS. You must have installed an app for your battery that's doing that. Either check the settings in the app or delete it. That should solve your problem.

    It's an app. Uninstall it.

I have never had this happen. Must be an app or a settibg you turned on

I don't think it's part of the BlackBerry OS either.
Owned a Z30 for over a year and Passport for a few weeks and never came across this.

No,this is not a part of the OS, for sure you have installed a 3rd party app about the battery.
