When people ask me about my passport, I simply say it's the new BlackBerry and hand it to them. Since most people can't get past the size and shape, I figured putting it in someone's hands is the best way way to break the ice.

Anyone else do it this way?

Haven't had anyone try and run with it yet!

I usually just hand mine over as well or depending on which device they have, sit it next to theirs and show the difference isn't **really** that crazy. Passport looks rather normal next to iPhone 6+ lol. This might be an option as well heh - http://appworld.blackberry.com/webst...tent/59951647/

    Question:?
So you hand it to them!? What if they stupidly drop yourdevice? I NEVER hand my devices randomly to people, burned once twice shy!!!! I did that once and watched my new 3day old bold 9900 tumble down the cement gallery steps of about 90 steps!!!

The screen was destroyed, the backing came apart and the poor battery also was ejected from the device!!!

One of my coworkers saw my phone and asked me to put it up to my ear like I was talking on it...she says, "Holy **** that's huge!!" I said, "Ya, I get that a lot, lol!"

Hand over with two hands, always over a table, and make sure they have it before letting go haha.

Most people suddenly become 'devicetards' when they try and handle a BlackBerry 10 device.

Whenever someone sees it, they immediately jump to "it's too big" but after holding it usually they say "it's beautiful; like a mini laptop"

I always tell them that it makes my Z30 feel puny, like half a phone instead of the other way around.

Most are mesmerised by the screen and stainless trim. Very few are critical. Some just say "wow!" and struggle to say something.

Definitely, holding it is the deciding factor. Although I try not to force my opinion of BlackBerry, I do like to show people that BlackBerry does make great products for a specific purpose; functionality. Holding it really fortifies that point.
