I just got mine last week. Took some time to figure it out. I wish we had the option to align the icons along the bottom, instead I just made blank spaces along the top.

They are all a swipe away (I never really understood that icon - nor the need for it).

There's a couple apps which make invisible icons you can place as placeholders... One of which is magicIcon. There are others, but the names escape me...

Soooo... it was an apps dependent thingy...
I was scratching my head hard upon seeing these... whenever i move an icon from a page to another, the previous page's icons rearrange themselves to fill up the gap.. duh...

One thing I have to do is keep all my native and android apps on separate pages. I don't like them mixed together.

First page is mostly default apps and snap. Second are native apps organized in folders and third is android apps in folders. And I don't like having more then 3 pages.

I keep some of my most-used apps on the homescreen and have the rest organized into folders on one page. Apps are sorted alphabetically in the folders.

Also use keyboard shortcuts a lot for social media apps instead of going into the folder. Would be nice if there was another row of icons allowed though.



Was using Home Screen Plus for a while also but got tired of the popup about the wallpaper being set.

My first screen is optimized for one handed usage. The other screen has all my other apps (mostly folders).

I heavily use the keyboard shortcut ability to launch apps - for instance, T brings up the native maps app, S the spotify app, N the music app, etc. For anything likely in a folder I just start typing the name of the app and launch it from assistant.

Thanks. I had homescreen+ but I uninstalled it because it was draining my battery after an update and I kept getting this annoying "wallpaper set" popup,even though I had rotation off. I keep meaning to reinstall to see if it was just corrupted, but I keep forgetting. I really liked having the unobtrusive weather at the top. I had tried one of their widgets once, but my icons on each page overlapped it, and I didn't have the patience to do the blank icons on 15 pages.I may reconsider now that I've done folders and am down to 4 pages.

How do you folk have your passports laid out? I can't seem to get happy with anything I try hahaha I'm a very organized person and the slightest scramble bothers me like no other. Here's what I have thus far...

Tis a shame you can't reconfigure the icons. Your background colors don't mesh well with the foreground colors. I don't have a blackberry, can you add the shadow back to the icons? I am curious how that looks.
