After trying to install google play from the user guide here at Crackberry I get notifications all the time ; " Install Google play services " and " Install maps "
How can I turn this off ?

You don't. There's no way to turn it off but if you installed it correctly, you shouldn't be getting all that many.

Install Blackberry Google ID, go to Android settings in the top right menu, then to apps, Google Maps and untick notifications.
