Use a holster or wallet type protector like the OEM ones that have thee sleep magnet in them and/or turn on the advanced options like 'face down' to put device in 'flip to save power' mode.

    Yes, 4G consumes a lot.
My iPhone 6 Plus uses 4G as well, but the battery is much better than Passport, have no idea why.

It looks like BlackBerry never really turns off. My BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition loses 15% a day even if I power it off.

I turn off blackberry protect. I also turn off all of the advanced interactions because they are not necessary for me.

This will save some noticeable battery life. I also downloaded phone finder to replace blackberry protect. It can help track where you've lost your phone like BB protect does.

I recently wiped my passport and started fresh. Even after reinstalling all my apps (including android apps via snap) the battery is a just beast. 14 hours of moderate use and I'm still at 76% battery life.

I find that battery life is very dependent on the signal quality, as I can never get more than a couple of bars on LTE. Still, I easily make it through my day. Switch to wifi if you're in an area of weak signal, if that's an option.

Agreed! As I'm mostly on wifi (office and or home office), I cancelled my 4G for my Passport as I barely had any use of it and it drained my battery significantly. I have advanced interactions turned on and on a busy day with dozens of emails and much more texts and calls, I easily get through my 18 hrs day with one charge. On my lazy days I get 3 days without charging (occasional fb check, quick glance at the stocks). My colleagues with their android flagship phones even stopped asking me for a charger as mine is always at home.
