Dear tim
ive been Blackberry user for almost 6 years n i often had to face the same problem. what you can do is, remove your battery and reinsert and plug in for charging. Hopefully it will get you on. I hope it works.
Too bad the Passport has a non-removeable battery.

Never let your battery run flat though..

6 years and you don't know the battery is non-removable. Right.
Anyway, to answer the OP, leave it plugged in to a wall outlet, not USB, for a few hours and see if it starts to charge. Also, never let your battery go flat and if you're gonna store it do so at around 40%.
Last night I came at 10% after full days use, I didn't realize letting then die is such a big issue.

Dear sarapatrick1980,
Thanks for the advise. My BB passport is a battery built-in device, can't remove it. I've been trying to leave it on wall charge for a day. No different!!! Now trying to connect it to computer and the Link asks me whether I want to restore the device to 'factory setting'. Going along with it and waiting to see if there is any change. Cheers.
Hey try plugging it into your computer and charge from there. Sometimes when battery's die they need a trickle charge to re-activate. I did this when my galaxy gear wouldn't take a charge. My buddy suggested it and it worked...
