How are people calibrating their batteries and keeping it healthy since we won't be able to change them? I think using it till 0% hurts the battery, so I want to avoid doing that if possible, any suggestions?

Li-ion batteries do not need calibration. As for lengthening its life, always use the specified charger for the device, don't let it drain fully; I charge my li-ion battery when it's about 10% remaining and most importantly, never expose it to high temperatures, since heat can greatly decrease the life of a li-ion battery.
