What is the ALT key on the passport? How do we get it?

There are shortcuts that call for it but I can't find it.

If your talking about shortcuts in cb10 it's a app issue.


Here is no "alt" key on the Passport

In Squircle I Trust

To get you alternate keyboard mapping swipe down on the keyboard, just like Z10. The keys will be mapped to a physical key, press the physical key to get the corresponding mapped key. Also, if you swipe down a second time you will get another set of characters. I actually like this better over a physical key dedicated to something that can be done in a fluid motion anywhere on the keyboard.

I think I would like it better if when I swipe the keyboard that it stays open for more than one entry from the physical keyboard

It would be nice if BlackBerry implemented the ability to bring up the virtual keyboard at will by swiping up with two thumbs on the keyboard. This would function the same as on the all-touch devices and it would allow a plethora more shortcuts to be used.

Why they haven't done this is beyond me.
