Probably easier to apologize or have them arrested.

Hold up. BB10 doesn’t even have a block feature built in? That’s something Android started adding in 2017, and iOS has had since 2013.

It does but its greyed out for me (under Phone app > Settings). Must be a carrier side thing. Block IT worked well when I last tried it.

I have a native app from BBW called "CallBlocker10". Haven't used it so far however.

    Hi Mirio,

Are you wanting to block just one number or all anonymous numbers? It sounds like just the one number but I wanted to double-check before suggesting a solution.

I have used Power Tools in the past for this reason and I believe 1-800 numbers also. Worked well for me but haven't tested lately

I'd suggest CallBlocker10 as saint mentions, and SMS Blocker Pro from Runisoft. You can get the latter from here:

    Buy BlackBerry 10 Apps

    Just select Option 4.

SMS Blocker is fairly powerful but a worthwhile investment if you have an ongoing concern about these types of numbers.

You could also try BlockIT just for calls as well.

Power Tools has this capability, along with many others. It's a must-have for any BB10 user.

PowerTools, to my knowledge, only blocks SMS messages not calls. SMS Blocker would be the better app for this type of function in my view, adding CallBlocker10 to handle the call blocking aspect.

"7. CallBlocker - This feature requires BlackBerry OS10.3 and higher. Block Unknown and Private and individual incoming calls from the Blacklist.

    8. Message Blocker - Block incoming Text and Email messages. This is the most advanced Spam filter for BlackBerry 10. Message Filter works with native language meaning you can enter native language characters in the filter to block."

Fair enough. I still would suggest CallBlocker10 in combination with SMS Blocker as they would be the more powerful apps for this specific use case, but if people wish they can certainly try PowerTools for this as well.

I'm not sure why one would be considered more powerful than the other, either. But if the function is important to you (OP or anyone looking to do this), it's probably a good idea to have a few apps installed, in case one stops working unexpectedly.
