    Does anyone know if its possible to have apps launching instead of contacts when holding down letters ?

    Yes. In 10.3.1 you can..
    Hotkeys for apps ? Hold F for opening facebook ? ...-img_20141129_110115.png

    I just get the option to put it to a contact. What am I doing wrong ? I cant see the action input anywhere...

    I am using 10.3.0.908 and the passport tells me that its the newest one... hmmmm..

    10.3.1 hasn't been officially released yet. You can load a leak of the OS to get these features, if not, just wait on it.

    AT&T made a mistake and released bug ridden 10.3.1 about a month ago. I am using it now. The OS is stable, but I am finding little annoying bugs here and there. It is definitely nice to have the keyboard shortcuts though.
