Just curious about what everyone thinks about the Passport's battery life. I'm ordering one tomorrow, and I want to make sure that it won't fail me like my classic. Good or bad reviews are welcome!

Battery will depend on a lot of things, not only usage, but reception aswell. I can get up to 3 days with my passport, but where I use it, I always have great coverage of network and Wifi and that makes A LOT of difference. If you go to a room where you have very little wifi, the phone will drain the battery much quicker for example. But at minimum, it will get you a full day no problem at all. I would guess the average to be 2 days.

My Z10 used to last me from 6am to 11am. My Passport last me from 6am to 10pm and usually has around 30% left on battery. That's on a day of extreme heavy use. Usually on lighter day I get 1 and a half days. That's perfectly fine for me.

    From my Jamaican Passport.

It really all depends on your definition of normal use. I get all day and then some out of my passport, but it really depends what your doing on it. You should at the very least get a full day out of it, though the Huffington post app kills my battery...

Never a dull moment and still don't need charger for 24 to 36 hrs on an average.
On weekends I forget to charge and still can go on for 2 days straight.
All in all a good satisfying (battery) life :-p

The only reason it has good battery life is because it has big battery capacity.
That's typically the reasons most phones do in 2015. Battery tuning and processor enhancements will only take you so far in an era where screens, cores, graphics, LTE, NFC etc are improving at an exponential rate ... and battery technology is not keeping up in any way.

Best way to tell your average battery life is to open your device monitor and then minimize it. It then displays your average battery life.

I don't really care how I get the battery life. As long as I get it. I don't care how big the battery has to be.

    Heavy use : 18 20 hours
    Moderate use : 24 30 hours
Lite use : 48 hours easy
For me mostly 36 hours to get below 20 % of battery capacity

Yes, I think it's a very cool feature! (I found out by accident whilst trying to demonstrate to my girlfriend one of the many ways in which my Passport is superior to her horrible old iPhone, eg I don't have to charge my phone 2 or 3 times every day).

Mine have never been great on any BlackBerry phone. AT&T is constantly reselecting. It will jump back and forth from a couple of bars of LTE to 4G and back and every now and then no signal.

My Display and System numbers are usually <2%.... hopefully one of the more technical people on here can give you some pertinent advice.

When your display is below 2 % you don't use your phone verry much i guess.

While your phone is constantly on battery saving mode, NO
And your pim services are high. I got my phone of the charger this morning at 8.30 hour and now my pim services are at 0,19% .
How many accounts you have on your phone. You should take a look to the sync intervals of your accounts.

Saturday lunchtime, I'm watching F1 qualifying, and gloriously NOT ONE bloody work call today!

Maybe I should do a comparison and check out the display percentage at Monday lunchtime.....
