For some reason I can't add anything to the home screen. I tried to drag icons from the other two pages to the page that has the small house icon assigned to it but it won't do anything.

Is there anyone else who is experiencing this or is this normal?

Home screen only shows apps you have open. Supposed to be that way.

The home screen is there only to accommodate the open apps as active frames isn't it? You can't drag anything onto it.

OP, if you want to get rid of the homesreen, you can go to "Settings", "Display", and turn off the option "Show Wallpaper When All Apps Are Closed".

This will automatically "close" the homescreen when you have no open programs, and take you directly to the pages showing your apps icons.

Nope. They're not kidding. The homecreen only shows open applications. There is a setting to not display the homescreen when all applications are closed.

Go to "Settings", "Display", and turn off the option "Show Wallpaper When All Apps Are Closed".

This will automatically "close" the homescreen when you have no open programs, and take you directly to the pages showing your apps icons.

Got it. On my Z30 and Z10 before that the home screen could be populated with apps, didn't realize that changed with the updated OS on the Passport.

No change! My Z10 has always been like that. Home screen only for open active frames - unless you had the home screen inadvertently turned off on those devices without knowing it.

I no longer own my Z10 so there's no way for me to check. Therefore I had no idea about that setting.
