or you can simply literally just tap on the screen, works 100% (I do this every morning since it is a bit hard to locate the power button when you are first waking up and often easier to just tap the screen)
This is what I do as well.

Under the Lock Screen options, does anyone use "Turn on Screen for New Notifications"? I started playing with this just today, and it seemed to drastically increase both the HUB battery usage, and the battery usage for anything pushing notifications to the lock screen (primarily Text messaging).

Tapping on the screen don't work for me. Z10STL100-1/10.3.1.1016.

I use power, mute, or volume keys to snooze.

I had the tap to snooze feature on my Q10, and now on my Passport. Maybe there is a setting somewhere?

Place one thumb on the keyboard and then swipe horizontally using the other to get to next screen/frame, if available.

When viewing emails P and N show previous and next emails without going back to hub.

In hub, pinch to filter unread only, and spread to revert back.
Tried this and it still swiped back to the hub to open up previous or next email. Is that what you're talking about?

someone said in a thread somewhere that you can use a 2 finger swipe or something like that. I can't get that to work. Anyone have any ideas what that is about or am i misremembering?
Once you bring up the virtual keys, by swiping down on the keyboard, or pressing @123 you can swipe left on the virtual keys with more than one finger and delete multiple previous words from where the keyboard is. But the cursed needs to be in the delete mode, not the move mode with the circle and arrows etc. Swiping left on the physical keys will delete only one word no matter how many fingers you use, but on the screen on the virtual keyboard, swiping left with three fingers deletes three word, two fingers deletes two words. Again, this only works swiping on the virtual keys.

Rockin a Passport and Z30! Two devices are better than 1!

I don't know if this was available in previous versions of BB10 but I just discovered that you can mark a message as read or unread simply by tapping on the envelope or text icon in the left column in the Hub. Nice, now I don't have to long hold and select unread.

Yes the voice to text is a very cool feature, but I'm a little self-conscious about using it in public and you still have to go back to insert punctuation; but otherwise, potential to be a real time saver.

    Powered by Passport
You don't have to go back to insert punctuation. By actually pronouncing the punctuation. Full stop or comma it will insert the punctuation.

Not exactly a shortcut but this capability has been in OS10 from the start. Just hit the fountain pen icon and you can change font sizes, colors, bold, italics, underline and more. You can't do that on an iPhone. See my screenshot here. Jim

I'm running OS 10.3.0.908 on my Passport.

This is what the alarm looks like when it's going off, tapping anywhere on the screen sets it into snooze.

This has been removed in 10.3.1 - well it had been when running leak on my Q10. I used to like this feature but can see why they have removed it.

This thread should be a sticky...

I dont know if this is already mentioned, and I dont think its only to the Passport, probable to all BB10 devices.

If you want to go to the Hub from any app you just swipe up to the middle of the screen and in then without lifting your finger form the screen swipe right, youll automatically minimize the app and go to the Hub all in one motion.

When your cursor is active in a text field:

    Delete ONE word:

    1. Place cursor at end of word and swipe left on the physical keys with one finger.

    Delete TWO words:

    1. Place cursor at end of words and expand virtual keyboard by swiping down on physical keyboard or tapping '@123'

    2. swipe left across expanded virtual keyboard with 2 fingers at the same time to delete 2 words at a time.

    Posted via CB10
No need to tap on '@123' you can swipe left with 2 fingers on normal keyboard I mean on qwerty keyboard

I can give some simple ones

Love the mic button you can hold for three seconds above the period and dictate text. Works even here in this app. Not really hidden, however probably not noticed.

This feature works amazingly well. I now use it extensively to boost my productivity.
